These Terms of Service govern your use of Tap2. By creating an account or using the app, you agree to these terms. Please read them carefully.

Service description

Tap2 is a mobile point-of-sale platform that enables businesses to accept contactless payments directly from a smartphone. The service includes payment acceptance, digital receipt delivery, bank payouts, and related merchant tools.

Eligibility

To use Tap2, you must:

Account terms

Each business may maintain one Tap2 account. You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account, including transactions processed by employees or agents using your account. Keep your passkey and device secure. Notify us immediately at support@tap2.cc if you suspect unauthorized access.

Payment processing

Payments are processed through third-party payment processors including Stripe and Moov. By using Tap2, you also agree to be bound by the applicable terms of these processors. Tap2 does not store full card numbers. All payment data is handled by our processors in compliance with PCI-DSS standards.

Fees

Tap2 charges per-transaction fees as shown on the pricing page. Fees are deducted from payouts automatically. The Pro plan is billed as a monthly subscription. Fees are subject to change with 30 days notice.

Acceptable use

Tap2 may only be used for lawful business transactions. You may not use Tap2 to process payments for prohibited businesses, which include but are not limited to: illegal goods or services, gambling, adult content, firearms dealers without proper licensing, and any activity that violates applicable law. We reserve the right to suspend accounts that violate this policy.

Termination

You may close your account at any time by contacting support@tap2.cc. We may suspend or terminate your account at any time if you violate these terms, engage in fraudulent activity, or if required by our payment processors. Upon termination, any pending payouts will be settled according to our standard payout schedule.

Limitation of liability

Tap2 is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Tap2 shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of revenue or profits, arising from your use of the service. Our total liability to you for any claim shall not exceed the fees you paid to Tap2 in the 90 days preceding the claim.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of the State of Delaware.
